"I ordered The Bright Side Of Disaster off Amazon.com. On Saturday, I
started reading. Now it is Monday and I am 3/4 of the way through because I
cant stop reading!!  I cannot believe how aptly you encapsulate the
post-natal experience!  ...When my son was 23 months, he slept through the
night FOR THE FIRST TIME!  Everything in your book is exactly as I
experienced it (except for my husband leaving. He didn't, which was nice).

   * The birth counselors who droned on about the powerful birth experience
and the evils of caesareans. Which I had to have in the end anyway after
what felt like a week of labour.
   * The hollowed eyed exhaustion.
   * The fear of being alone with the baby in case something happened and
you didn't know what to do. Panic was my middle name.
   * Needing my mother with me at all times.
   * Going to the toilet with the baby because of the warnings about
constant supervision on prams and bouncers.
   * The overwhelming love and protectiveness towards this person I had
made!

The similarities were AMAZING. I even made my husband read these parts of
the book!  Congratulations on the novel. I am loving it. I'll be buying any
book you release from now on and telling my friends!"
