cupcakes 2.0

I am never in on the ground floor of anything.  But my friend Laura invited me to be a part of the first-ever Mom 2.0 Summit in Houston last weekend.  And I went.  And I brought cupcakes.  And I made the toppers myself.  ’Cause I’m crafty that way.  (Or at least, I used to be.)

My kids and I went all around Houston trying to find the best cupcakes in town. But it turns out to be a tough call.  There are lots of great cupcakes here.  We know food in H-town!

And this is also true:  After a week of cupcakes, they all started to taste the same.

Here’s something else that’s true:  I want to go back to Mom 2.0.  The Four Seasons!  The samovars of coffee!  The feisty, intelligent, beautiful bloggers everywhere.  It was too good to be true.  And now I am really missing it.

I just want to go again.  Like, tomorrow.
